Kembara TIAN XIA

What is Tian Xia??? Hmm, literally it means "under Heaven," (Chinese: 天下).'It is a phrase in the Chinese language and an ancient Chinese cultural concept that denoted either the entire geographical world or the metaphysical realm of mortals, and later became associated with political sovereignty.' Wikipedia.

The Concept???

The union and manipulation of all the elements in human in order to find their own voice/potential and also helping others to find their's. The elements are earth, water, fire and wind. Earth represents physical quotient (PQ), water represents intellectual quotient (IQ), fire represents emotional quotient (EQ) and wind represents spiritual quotient (SQ).

1). Earth (PQ)

Which type of soil are you???

1). The soil that does not hold or even absorbs the water that fall  onto it. (Does not bring benefits to itself and others).

2). The soil that hold the water, but does not absorb it. (Bring benefits to others, but not to itself).

3). The soil that absorbs the water and thus giving life to trees and living creatures. (Bring benefits to itself    only).

4). The soil that does not only absorbs the water, but also stream it to the surrounding areas. (Bring benefits to  itself and the others).

2). Water (IQ)

What is the similarity between water and our mind???

Basically, water will takes the shape of its container and this is a good analogy to our minds which are shaped by its surrounding. Nevertheless, water also changed its colour by the present of exogenous element. This can be a good or bad properties depending on the exogenous element that we put into it. In real life, we need to protect our mind from negative influences, but not to be scared of trying new things or sharing new ideas as long as we have a clear division between what's right and wrong.

3). Fire (EQ)

'In humans, emotion fundamentally involves "physiological arousal, expressive behaviors, and conscious experience". Emotion is associated with mood, temperament, personality and disposition, and motivation.' Wikipedia.

Fire burns and glows brightly just like our souls. It can brings good or harm depending on how we manipulate it. Remember!!! Emotion can drive our motivation, but can also be a hindrance to our success.

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said,"A strong person is not the person who throws his adversaries to the ground. A strong person is the person who contains himself when he is angry."Al Muwatta Hadith 47.12 Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Said ibn al-Musayyab from Abu Hurayra.

4). Wind (SQ)

'Wind is the flow of gases on a large scale.' Wikipedia. Wind is something abstract that can be felt but cannot be seen. That is the same with our soul and faith towards Allah S.W.T. Wind is the most fundamental element that controls other elements. WHY??? It is simply because wind is the element that will guide our PQ, IQ and EQ under Islamic Sacred Law.

'Jika Ia kehendaki, Ia menghentikan tiupan angin, maka tinggalah kapal-kapal itu terapung-apung di muka lautan. Sesungguhnya yang demikian mengandungi tanda-tanda (yang besar pengajarannya) bagi tiap-tiap seorang (mukmin) yang sentiasa bersikap sabar, lagi sentiasa bersyukur.' As-Shura: 33.

Holy Quran has given us such a clear analogy. Wind is the guider to the ships in the sea. Without wind the ships cannot continue it's course. The same goes with our life; we are corresponding to the ship that will sail to the Hereafter. Thus, a good faith or SQ will guides us to true path. InsyaAllah.

In The Nutshell 

WALK THE TALK!!! WORDS WITHOUT ACTION ARE WORST!!! IMPROVE OUR 'IMAN' AND INCREASE OUR 'IBADAH' SO THAT WE ARE CLOSER TO ALLAH S.W.T. 

ISLAM WILL UNITES US REGARDLESS OF OUR BACKGROUND, SKIN COLOUR, RACES AND ETC.

Exam week!!! Well, it's about 3 weeks more b4 final 1st semester exam. Well, all I can say is good luck and all the best for me. And DON'T REPEAT ANY PAPER!!! Coz I don't have much money to pay for each repeat paper which about 150 euro. Hmm, actually I'm studying right now. So, the post is quite short. Anyway, I will end strong and that is what I had decided on. :B

Ice-skating at Arnotts

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Salam and good night to everyone that read my blog. Well, it's been a while since I last posted something. Hmmm, the role of this post is to share my experience of playing 'ice-skate' at Arnotts, Dublin City Centre. It all started with the PMCSA plan to organize the event which somehow had attract me to indulge in it.

After that, Fazli(my friend in the in the video) decided to go with me and so we went on together. The  journey begins from Darul Mikhraj(our lovely home) to RCSI. [Ops, forgot to tell u all that Fazli is my housemate]. At RCSI, we all gathered together and move on to Arnotts at the City Centre by walking. Bla2...

That's all for the muqadimah. Now!!! for the real blog entry :
Honestly, it was my first time playing 'ice-skate' in my whole life until now. It's quite 'horror' !!! Well, I fell 3 times on the ice field and it was truly painful!!! lol. Anyway, I did saw 1-2 Irish people slipped and fell too. Therefore, I'm not the only dummies here..he3.

Reflections 
The moment I fall, I started to realize that  in life, we have ups and downs. If I fall down, I will immediately move up. That's the nature of human and of course me too. But sometimes, due to too much times that we fall, we started to give up on moving up. We say 'It all useless and no matter how hard I try, I will definately fail.' At that time, we will be engulf in a negative/pessimist environment.

Nevertheless, if we don't move on, we will not get anywhere. Yes, in this life there are times when u fall and u think that u don't have the strength to get up. At that time, do u think u have HOPE ? Well, if I try 100 times to get up and if I fail 100 times too and started to give up. Do u think I will be able to get up? NO!!! But if I fail, I'll try again and again x99. I just want to tell me and the readers that it is not the end. It matters how u gonna finish. Are u gonna finish strong? Tell yourself the answer and decide are you gonna give UP ?

 Therefore, when you combine those 2 it will be :
' A person whom you know, beloved and dear to you. One who supports, sympathizes and help you when you're hving problems.' Is this the meaning of it??? Well, for me I accept those definition as long as it correlates  with being a good supporter or in a simple word a good Samaritan.

Precious friends...hmmm, I've lost 1 of them before in my life and now I realize that it was a mistake. But always remember that we have time and power to fix everything up. It's never too late!!!

The Begining.

Hello and a very good morning I wish to myself and to readers who read this. Alhamdulillah coz I'm still alive today to start reconstruct my blog or should I say continue writing something. well it's been quite A WHILE since I last wrote something. For a good start I think it's better if I introduce myself or in a simple word taaruf. Okay!

My name is IS??? my full name is Iskandar Bin Abu Bakar. Iskandar is my name and Abu Bakar is my father's name (I need to explain this coz in Dublin people always called me Abu Bakar...lol). I was born on 7 July 1990 which means I'm now 20 years old (old enough to get married). I'm the fourth sibling in my family and my hometown is in Muar, Johor (though I was born in Melaka).

Education: Well, I'm a smart/industrious,idealist,genius and etc. guy. Therefore, I got 8A's in PMR and 10A's in SPM and 36 points in IB . Now I'm pursuing a medical career in Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland(RCSI). Therefore, I can say that I'm a future doctor (InsyaAllah), but what kind of doctor??? A doctor that never forget who he was and who he are. A doctor that know and bears RESPONSIBILITIES of the name that he carries( For further reading, please asks Uncle Google bout responsibilities of a doctor).

Other than that...hmmm, I like petanque...A sport where you got to play with IRON ball. The game resembles lawn bowl or bowling. Then, I also fond of manga and anime especially NARUTO, Bleach, Fairy Tail and Gundam Seed/Destiny. Well, I'm a low level die-hard fan!!!  lol

Anything else??? I don't think so...enough for now...till we meet again blog...
